Licenses
Beheld runs on your iPhone using Apple's own frameworks. It bundles no third-party open-source code, analytics, attribution, or tracking SDKs. The list below is provided for transparency about the Apple technologies Beheld is built on.
Built with Apple technologies
Beheld is built entirely on Apple frameworks, licensed to the developer through the Apple Developer Program and bundled with iOS. They are not open-source components and carry no separate license notices; the list below is offered simply to show what Beheld relies on.
Used to read movement data from Apple Health on your iPhone. Movement data is read locally and is never uploaded to a Beheld server.
Used to generate the companion's daily journal text on device, where Apple Intelligence is available. Prompts are constructed and evaluated locally.
Used to generate milestone postcard images on device, where available. Generated images are stored locally on your iPhone.
Used to process the one-time Personalization in-app purchase through the App Store. The app verifies your purchase on your device through StoreKit; payment details are handled entirely by Apple.
Core platform frameworks used throughout Beheld for UI, language runtime, data flow, and standard library functionality.
Typography
The Beheld app uses the iOS system typefaces — SF Pro and New York — provided by Apple and used under the Apple system font license, embedded in iOS.
Imagery
Postcard illustrations bundled for devices where Image Playground is unavailable were generated with Apple's Image Playground on the developer's device prior to shipping, and are included with the app for display within Beheld.
What Beheld does not include
Beheld does not bundle any third-party analytics SDK, attribution SDK, advertising SDK, crash-reporting service, push-notification service, or remote feature-flag service. There are no SDKs that contact external servers on your behalf.
